Supple cups can eliminate any foreseeable problems buy pulling out and elongating flat or inverted nipples, creating longer and larger nipples in the process. Supple Cups work by creating a gentle suction that you choose the strength of, making Supple Cups a custom fit for every expecting Mom. Most Moms with flat or inverted nipples have no idea how to correct this problem. There are other products on the market that claim to help "draw out" flat or inverted nipples. These devices are usually bulky, expensive, uncomfortable, and most times cannot be worn outside the house. Conventional methods mentioned by some Lactation Consultants are to pump or wear breast shells before nursing. Neither of these things will pull nipples out or enlarge them permanently and most of the time they don't help. About ninety percent of the time those of us who suffer from flat or inverted nipples who are truly determined to breastfeed end up with breast shields so our little ones will latch. Breast shields are incredibly hard to wean a baby off of. Not to mention that we as Mom's feel like a failure for not being able to properly breastfeed our child when others make it seem so easy. I can't count the times I heard other Moms say "the Lactation Consultant told me I have perfect nipples for breastfeeding" and it just made me feel so sad and envious. I always wished I had what they did. Unfortunately for me, I didn't find this wonderful product until after my all struggles with breastfeeding my first child. I was lucky enough to use Supple Cups before the birth of my second child to enlarge and prepare my nipples for breastfeeding and had wonderful results. I personally recommend and stand behind this product 100%, as I have personally reaped the rewards of Supple Cups. If you have flat or inverted nipples and are planing to breastfeed you need to use Supple Cups to insure that you have no problems with early breastfeeding. Your local Lactation Consultants and LLL's may not have heard of The Supple Way Supple Cups yet. Slowly but surely they will catching wind of it, if your local LLL or Lactation Consultants don't know about it yet you can be the one to educate them on this wonderful product. I'm sure they will be thankful. With a fix for flat or inverted nipples some Moms will continue to breastfeed instead of quitting because of the difficulties with it. This is a wonderful thing because as we know without a doubt; breast IS the best. My personal testimonial and use regimen: My category flat nipples: I found out about Supple cups by accident while looking for a way to enlarge my nipples before the birth of my second child. I had already breastfed a child prior to that but had extreme difficulties due to the fact that I had flat nipples and my son was born with a tongue tie. Breast feeding did help to pull my nipples out but I felt they weren't big enough and needed to be bigger to be sure I didn't encounter problems like I had the first time I tried breastfeeding. Well I can honestly say that any problems I experienced with breastfeeding for the second time weren't due to flat nipples! I honestly thought my nipple was going to choke my son :) they were so big for his little mouth! They were perfect! Any problems we had were due to yet another, this time extreme, tongue tie. I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't use Supple Cups prior to giving birth. They were an absolutely amazing and wonderful haven sent helper! I'm now going to explain how I used the The Supple Way Supple Cups during my pregnancy. I don't suggest anyone try this without being sure that you have a completely normal pregnancy. Please talk to your doctor first as nipple stimulation can cause uterine contractions and possibly preterm labor. If you follow my regimen you do so at your own risk. I started using Supple Cups when I was 4 months pregnant. First I would put a TINY amount of Lansinoh® lanolin on the very rim of the Supple Cup, then I would apply a very small amount to my nipple. Just my nipple not the areola, just to lubricate it so it could "slide" in to the Supple easily. I would then gently squeeze the supple while placing it over my nipple while making sure not to cause too much suction. Sometimes this could take me 10 mins to get it just right. After I had both Supples applied I would put a snug sports bra on folding the supple up or down so they would lay flat. I know it sound crazy but it works, they stayed on this way. I would sleep like this for as many hours as I could stand. I did it for about 1 week straight and then I kept them where they were by wearing them 2-4 times a week for about 6-8 hours a night. I personally never had any problems except a sore nipple here and there when I would make the "vacuum" too tight by accident. I also put my sister on the same plan as myself and she didn't have any problems either. Both of us had excellent results and would recommend The supple Way Supple Cups to anyone who has flat or inverted nipples. They are amazing. |
