Having the ability to choose which way to open your nursing access is good because it leaves no one out. Every woman is different and so are their breasts, so much so that sometime regular nursing hole openings cannot work for them.

There are other advantages to this also, during the very early stages of nursing it is recommended that mama and baby have as much skin to skin contact as possible. It's also crucial for bringing in milk, that a baby has as much contact with the breast as possible. This really isn't well achieved with a traditional nursing hole opening.
